Ariell Johnson's dream started out as a simple one. To have a place where she could enjoy her favorite comic books and a cup of coffee with other girls (and boys) in a safe space where they are free to enjoy their Geekiness and embrace who they are with other like-minded people. She is now just weeks away from making that dream a reality in Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse, a space that promises to focus on inclusivity and diversity within the comic book and geek genre.
